Candida
Candida Albicans is an unfriendly bacteria which lives naturally in our gut. If there is a good balance of friendly and unfriendly bacteria, it doesn’t cause a problem. However, if there is an overgrowth, it kills off the friendly bacteria and grow into fungal spikes which pierce the gut wall. Food molecules then pass undigested into the body, triggering an immune response which causes symptoms of intolerances and allergies.
Eating yeast and sugar products encourages the growth of Candida. Any alcohol which has been fermented (beer, wine) should also be avoided.
